ENGAGING THE SOUNDBOKS COMMUNITies THROUGH STICKERS

In 2019 SOUNDBOKS initiated the first BUCKET LIST CHALLENGE, challenging the SOUNDBOKS communities around the globe to pull off various stunts with their SOUNDBOKS. The reward? 11 skateboard-grade stickers, one for every accomplished challenge, each with a custom illustration and wordmark (NERD ALERT: all made partly from custom typography).

Commitment beyond audibility

What’s truly unique about SOUNDBOKS is, that their customers are more like fans or followers. They’re invested in SOUNDBOKS. Not only by owning one, but by committing to the lifestyle that goes with it. And through the local SOUNDBOKS communities around the globe, people share their latest customizations and arrange meet-ups. Pretty cool, eh?

THE BUCKET LIST CHALLENGE is a nice way of paying back the communities for their undivided dedication. And the currency, high quality stickers (or merchandise in general), an attestation, that SOUNDBOKS know their fans.

Close collaboration from sketches to finished artwork

It's no secret that we had a blast working closely together with the SOUNDBOKS creative team on this one. We had a series of brainstorm- and sketching sessions, trying out different styles, motifs and wordmarks. It all came down to eleven fairly detailed sketches.
